At Tech Dental, your role as a Junior Dental Surgeon is to provide high-quality dental care to patients. Performing dental treatment and ensuring patients are comfortable and happy throughout their dental experience will all be part of your job description. This position offers a dynamic opportunity for a qualified dentist to gain valuable clinical experience, refine their skills under supervision, and contribute to patient care within a dental clinic setting

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient examinations, including reviewing medical history, taking vital signs, and diagnosing dental conditions.
Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, cleanings, root canals, and minor oral surgeries, with some level of supervision.
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, considering individual needs and best practices.
Provide effective pain management and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures.
Perform diagnostic procedures such as X-rays (if qualified) and interpret results to inform treatment planning.
Educate patients about their oral health, explain treatment options, and answer their questions in a clear and concise manner.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and ethical guidelines.
Collaborate effectively with dental hygienists, assistants, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry by attending continuing education courses or conferences.
May participate in research activities or contribute to the development of new treatment protocols.

Experience Requirements

Previous experience in a dental clinic or hospital setting is preferred but not required.
Recent graduates with exceptional academic records and strong internship experiences may also be considered.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, explain procedures clearly, and address their concerns.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)

Additional Considerations

The level of supervision provided may decrease with increasing experience.
This role can be a stepping stone towards becoming a fully independent dentist or pursuing further specialization.
